What you can expect?
All of our lessons are taught in a professonal manner, in safe and secure surroundings. We are family orientated and have a mixture of different ages and grades at all lessons. Students welcome to train from the age of 6.
These two branches are part of Scorpion Taekwondo, which is one of the most successful clubs in the UK based in Doncaster. We practice WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) style Taekwondo, with a mixture of traditonal lessons through to Olympic style full contact sparring lessons. Scorpion Taekwondo clubs are fully affiliated members of the BTCB (British Taekwondo Control Board) and all of their instructors are fully insuranced, regularly attend instructor courses provided by the BTCB and all instructors are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked. We also have First Aid cover at all Scorpion clubs.
What it Costs?
We are honest and up front about what it costs to be involved with Taekwondo.
There is no contract to sign and you pay as you train.
All 1 hour and 1 1/2 hour lessons are £4.50 per student at the Arksey and Edlington branches, prices in other Scorpion branches may vary.
Annual membership to BTCB £28.00 per year, this is compulsary to all students, as it also acts as your insurance, you cannot take part in any part of Taekwondo without valid membership.
Uniforms vary from £17.00 - £25.00 depending on size, see instructor for more details.
To new members we have a new suit and membership offer of £35.
Other equipment is availble to purchase, etc protective equipment for sparring, club tracksuites and t-shirts and many more. See instructor for more details.
Exams are £25.00 per student, this includes belt and certificate. These are held 3-4 times a year and are not compulsary.
Entry to full contact competitions starts at £15.00 and can vary from event to event.
